The Scene
There’s a steady drizzle of rain making little rivers in the sidewalk cracks as you hustle through the city. You take a shortcut through the park, where the vibrant fall colours are on full display. You pass an adorable bakery offering samples of their piping hot cider, made with syrupy-sweet ambrosia apples, cinnamon and clove. You grab a paper cup and keep on your way. Life is good.
